How are you able to customize my mantel? How does that process work?

• 1. Simply choose the mantel you would like and purchase it online.
• 2. Once your purchase is complete online, you will receive an email from our Customer Care Division that will include a Purchase Package for you to complete which includes a diagram indicating measurements we will require from you to custom build your mantel for you.
• 3. Simply complete and return via email to us and with that information you provide we will begin production of your mantel.
• 4. If you include a photo of your room, we can even send you back a revised photo with the mantel you chose in it to give you an idea of how your transformed room will look with your mantel, while you await delivery.

How do I know the mantel will fit my fireplace?

Be sure to refer to the PDF drawing listed beside your mantel of choice to ensure the opening allowance will work with your fireplace. Your mantel is custom made to fit within those parameters. Oh yeah, you can call us too and we will help you through the process.

What material are the mantels made of? Is it stone?

Yes - but not just ordinary stone. The look and feel of authentic stone; but lightweight. The result is an easy to install quality stone product that is more impact resistant than concrete, providing outstanding strength and durability.

Do I need a foundation to install this mantel?

No foundation or structural framing is required.

Are the mantels easy to install?

Yes!! Each mantel comes with a simple ‘How to Install’ step-by-step instruction sheet. With just a few basic hand tools, in just 2 – 4 hours your lightweight mantel can be installed and ready to enjoy. Perfect for apartments, condos, commercial applications, or really anywhere you want to enjoy the look of stone.

Will it discolour?

Other stone materials discolour with heat, but ours doesn’t. No disclaimers required. StoneToYou products withstand extreme heat and outdoor conditions and are frost and freeze-resistant.

Why should I buy a sealer with my mantel?

It is designed to repel any liquid from staining your mantel. Example: red wine.
